Microsoft's Xbox LIVE

Microsoft's Xbox LIVE service is undergoing a scheduled maintenance for next 24 hours starting 7:01AM UTC (4:30PM in India) today. This scheduled maintenance will also make Xbox LIVE and My Xbox section of Xbox.com unavailable. The Xbox.com forums would be available in a 'read-only' mode - you can't post new messages.

Larry Hryb aka Major Nelson, director of programming for Xbox LIVE gaming network, mentioned on his blog that nothing new will show up once Xbox LIVE is back from maintenance.

The Xbox.com messages noted that "This service maintenance is to prepare for some of the recently announced features that will be available later this year." The same post also carries an interesting list of activities for gamers to do meanwhile.
